The highly anticipated multiplayer beta of Halo Reach. An open beta for Halo Reach will go live on May 3, 2010. In order to access the beta you must have a copy of Halo: ODST. The option to select the beta will show up on the main menu screen.

McFarlane Toys (aka Spawn.com) has announced yet another wave in the continuing series of Halo-themed action figures.

This latest 6-inch figure batch, available in stores this month (October 2009) includes “The Rookie” figure from Halo 3: ODST (released September 22, 2009, for Xbox 360) as well as new weapons and 10 different “multiplayer medals,” one packaged with each figure.

Halo has gone from being a mere video game to a full scale phenomenon and the engine shows no signs of stopping. Its third installment has sold an amazing 8 million copies and sold $170 million worth of games in the US in its first 24 hours.
