The U.S. Army now has official gaming peripherals
It’s not unusual to see advertisements from the U.S. Armed Forces presented alongside videos on the PS3. We’ve also seen commercials on television depicting situations appear to be something that could only happen in videogames, only to be told it actually happens all the time. These ads are all designed to make the Armed Forces more »
Five Below’s Black Friday 2011 ad actually has game deals!
I know you typically don’t think of discount stores as being good places to go for video games and game accessories, but sometimes they are. Five Below is a good example. They typically have an assortment of $5 DS, PS2, Wii and Windows games to choose from, as well as board games and accessories. So it is only natural that the Five Below Black Friday 2011 ad for November 25, 2011 has video game and board game deals.
The video game deals in the Five Below Black Friday ad all are all for the DS and Wii…

At the CES Unveiled event yesterday (January 4, 2011), Aerial7 gave a sneak preview of some of the audio products they will have on display at CES 2011.

E-Gear reviews Q460 Quincy Jones headphones
Sister site E-Gear has posted a review of the AKG by Harman Q640 Headphones. This line carries the Quincy Jones moniker and, as E-Gear put it, “‘Q’ doesn’t put his name on just anything. Grammy-winning producer/arranger/composer Jones is associated with quality sound; if he’s behind an audio product, it better be good, right?”
Free headphones with GameStop Super Scribblenauts pre-order
The adjective-and-noun-laden Super Scribblenauts is due for release on October 12, 2010. Shock of shocks, GameStop is offering some incentives if you pre-order the game. How does a pair of Maxwell’s headphones sound to you?
Gamertell Review: Able Planet’s True Fidelity PS500MM stereo headphones
The True Fidelity PS500MM stereo headset claims to offer boosted sound that will not harm your ears.
Linx Audio, the tech behind this headphone’s supposedly superior sound, was originally developed with long-term audio aficionados in mind, especially those who cranked things up to 11 way too often. By remixing the sound on the fly so it sounds louder without actually being louder, Able Planet claims its headset will save your cochlea from wear.
Gamertell Review: Acoustibuds earphone adapters
This is one of those products that you look at on the shelf and initially think, “Well that’s just silly.” Then, after you ponder the amount you can potentially spend on a new set of ergonomically designed headphones, you completely reconsider your initial reaction.
The whole idea behind Accoustibuds is to revamp the ear buds you currently own so you don’t have to spend a small fortune on new headphones. You already have those weird little nubby circles you stick in your head to listen to your latest iPod jam so why bother buying $100+ headphones with special ear pieces? Right?
