Konami can’t wait for the Electronic Entertainment Expo June 7-9 to crow about the games it has to offer. It will hold special “pre show” events in several cities including Los Angeles, Toronto and Mexico City on June 2.

Hideo Kojima’s new installment of the Metal Gear Solid franchise is out. You can insert the triumphant fanfare soon. I will tell you that I wanted to like the game and, well, I didn’t like it.

I loved it.

Kojima will be signing copies of Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker in three locations during his brief stay in the US. Kojima won’t be able to sign everyone’s autograph so make sure you show up super early to get a chance to meet him.

The PSP sold 59,315 units in that same week to the PSP Go’s 1,890. In the previous week the PSP and PSP Go moved 30,302 units.
