E3 2009: House M.D. and Murder, She Wrote are getting virtual counterparts

Legacy Interactive recently created some casual games based on classic teen movies Clueless, Pretty in Pink and Mean Girls. Now, the company has announced at E3 2009 that it is teaming up with Universal Pictures Digital Platforms Group to create games based on TV series. Get ready for House M.D. for the PC and DS and Murder, She Wrote for the PC. Release dates aren’t available for either game.

The House M.D. game will allow players to solve five cases with House, Taub and Thirteen. The press release doesn’t mention if Foreman or Kutner will be appearing, but I sincerely hope both characters show up. The goal of the game is to do what the team does in the show, diagnose patients who have unknown and mysterious diseases. Since it will also be a DS release, I’m guessing there’ll be some sort of touch screen controls or medical puzzles implemented. Seems like it will be a more serious mystery game.

On the other hand, Murder, She Wrote sounds like a leisurely, casual romp…
