Nintendo Downloads for December 1, 2011
Hey everyone. Time for more Nintendo downloads. Let me just warn you, this is one of those weeks where you could just sleepwalk through the entire update. Nothing to see here, move along. You know, that kind of thing. Of course, that’s what happens when only four new games are released. Especially when one is another overpriced entry in a PC to DSiWare port. (Yes, there’s another House M.D. episode out this week. Go get the Windows PC version instead, as its cheaper and you get all the episodes at once.)
Though I guess you could give Double Bloob kudos for being the first game ever where the point is to save a captured baby dolphin from aliens.
Yup, you read that right.
Gamertell’s Nintendo Download pick for the week would be Adventure Island (3DS) if it weren’t overpriced at $3.99.…
Gamertell Review: House, M.D., for Windows
Everyone’s favorite snarky doctor is back, this time in PC form.
House M.Dlets you solve cases and diagnose patients, all while making rude comments to your staff and patients and annoying Dr. Cuddy.
Casual Friday Update for September 11-17, 2010
There’s a huge casual game update today! We hit this double digits this week, with 11 new games making their debut. Only one is for both Macs and Windows, but still. With that many titles, there’s a great selection to choose from.
As usual, most of the games are hidden object titles. There are also quite a few time management simulations to keep things interesting! Not to mention Legacy Interactive’s anticipated casual adventure game based on House, M.D. is now available. Rounding out the selection are an RPG and a match-3 game.
This week’s best bets are: House, M.D. (Windows) and Build It Green: Back to the Beach (Windows)
Gamertell Preview: House, M.D. for Windows PC
Legacy Interactive and Glyphic Entertainment are currently working House, M.D., a casual PC and DS game based on the TV series of the same name. I was fortunate enough to get some hands on time with the Windows PC version of the game, which will be released in September, 2010, to coincide with the new season. So let’s take a look at what the virtual House cases are like.
Much like the actual TV series, the cases in House, M.D. are separated into episodes. After exploring the main menu, it looks like you can return to any of the five episodes at any time, after you’ve completed one. Since this was my first time playing I decided to just start fresh with a new game and Episode 1: Globetrotting.
An episode of the House M.D. game begins and proceeds much like an episode from the TV show. An old man named Henry Richter, host of the show Globetrotting!, is just finishing an episode in Malaysia when he falls ill…
House MD game making house calls, sorta
Finally, my favorite TV show House MD is being made into a video game! Unfortunately it is only a mobile phone game, but it’s a start.
House MD the mobile game was created by Exelweiss, a Spaniard based company, and was published by Mobiground. I’m not sure of the exact date it came out, because most of the info for the game is in Spanish and not clear, but it looks like it came out in April. It’s a graphic adventure game that allows you to roam around the Princeton-Plainsboro and freely talk to people about your case.
