Surprise! Walmart’s ad for next week is already available. Not online though. But if you check your local newspaper or even your mailbox, you may find a sale circular for December 12-18, 2010. There are a lot of great combo deals, promotions and price drops planned for next week, many of which may even be worth standing in line for! The front page fo the ad also reiterates Walmart’s policy of matching any competitor’s price.

Toys ‘R Us is having an Easter sale, and there are going to be some adequate electronics deals. It’s a two day event that will run from March 26-27, 2010. There are system and game deals, so you can get something big or small if you need a gift. There are even two netbooks on sale, though those might not be good for gaming purposes.

When it comes to consoles, it could be time to get a DS or Xbox 360. The DS and DSi are $129.99 and $169.99, which is the normal price, but you get a $20 Toys ‘R Us gift card when you buy the system. Likewise, the Xbox 360 120gb Elite’s price is still $299.99, but you also get a $50 Toys ‘R Us gift card and a free Energizer Charge Station. If you don’t want an Elite, you can get a cheaper Xbox 360 console and still get a free Energizer Charge Station with it.

There are two video game deals that will be going on, if you just want to get something small to shove in Easter baskets…

Tech and computer retail store Micro Center has a whole bunch of stuff on sale starting Black Friday (November 27, 2008) through the whole weekend. It begins at 8 a.m. on Friday and ends 6 p.m. Sunday, November 30, 2008.

Sale items include Acer PCs for $299, 22 in. flat screen monitors for $199, 1GB MP3 player for $0.99, a min tripod for $0.99, cameras, computers, printers,, RAM, video recorders, hard drives and more. Some deals may also be availabel on the web site, though not likely the one-day in-store sale items.

Possibly as a result of the Voodoo PC buyout, the laptop pictured above will be HP’s first true gaming laptop. Sporting a 20 inch display, the notebook is hardly portable, being that wide and weighing in at 12 pounds. A handle might ease the pain of lugging such a large, valuable item. No release date more »
