Invizimals features Pokemon-esque creature battles, some hokey acting and utilizes a digital camera and built-in microphone to capture in-game creatures around your house. In other words, it’s a game that feels like Nintendo could have (and maybe should have) made first for the DS yet its only on the PSP.

North America is finally getting the Pokemon-esque, augmented reality game Invizimals! It’s been out in Europe since November 13, 2009, which means it will have almost taken a year for it to reach the US when it debuts October 12, 2010. Perhaps, as a way to make amends for the delay, Sony’s announced an Invizimals PSP Entertainment Pack bundle. Well, it wasn’t exactly a Sony announcement – Amazon and GameStop leaked the news…
