Gameloft announces a 99¢ iOS game Halloween sale
Good news iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch owners, Sega’s Halloween app sale isn’t the only one out there. It turns out Gameloft has also decided to get into the spirit of the season and prepare a few treats for those who enjoy gaming on the go. Actually, it almost seems like Gameloft’s doing a copycat thing, as it’s also decided to drop the selected games down to 99¢.

PlayStation Store Update: Braving the Wild West and becoming Iron Man (May 4 to 10, 2010)
This week’s downloadable PlayStation 3 game is Lead and Gold: Gangs Of The Wild West for $14.99. In this third person western shooter, players can take on the role of four different professions in the wild west to survive this multiplayer mayhem. The Blaster, looks much like a miner, can blast his way through a gunfight with a double-barreled shotgun at short range and toss dynamite like a football star. The Deputy, this cowboy carries a repeater carbine with medium range firepower and is able to tag the enemies he’s pursuing. The Gunslinger is the quickest gun on the battlefield with his large caliber revolver with a medium range firepower and various shooting techniques. The Trapper uses more than bear traps to snag the enemy, his hunting rifle can snipe out the enemy at great distances with powerful shots. The game features four game modes with more unlockable modes in the future to include Powderkeg, Conquest, Greed and Robbery with a variety of western themed maps and diverse leveling system for players to enjoy in this team-based multi-player game. Bullet-Point Preview: Iron Man 2 (movie)
I saw an advance screening of Iron Man 2 this evening and it was… as usual I’m not allowed to actually review it until it hits theaters on May 7, 2010.
So, instead, here’s a slightly enigmatic, purposefully partially vague yet point-on bullet-point preview of Iron Man 2 directed by Jon Favreau (also on screen as Happy Hogan) and starring Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark), Don Cheadle (Lt. Col. James ‘Rhodey’ Rhodes), Scarlett Johansson (Natalie Rushman), Gwyneth Paltrow (Pepper Potts), Sam Rockwell (Justin Hammer) and Mickey Rourke (Ivan Vanko).
Comic Con 2009: Marvel video games front and center
Marvel Comics “True Believers” will find a lot of info about upcoming Marvel games at San Diego Comic Con (July 23-26 2009). At 10 a.m.. July 25, 2009, at you can head to Room 6BCF to hear more about the Marvel Super Hero Squad. They’re getting a huge push from Marvel with a Cartoon Network show and a video game being handled by THQ.
The Super Hero Squad are cute, kid-friendly version of modern Marvel characters so this game could target the same demo that has made the Lego games a huge hit.

Sega’s San Diego Comic Con ’09 game lineup revealed
Sega has a bit of a surprise for Comic Con 2009 attendees, a game lineup that sounds like it’d fit better at a video game convention like E3. Sega, which had previously announced that it would be attending the California Comic Con from July 23-26 , but only just announced the products it will be showcasing at booth #5229.
Sega’s offerings are well rounded, covering games for the DS, PC, PS3, PSP, Wii and Xbox 360. Iron Man 2, which is scheduled to appear on all the above platforms, will be at the event. So will the DS exclusive games Bleach: The 3rd Phantom and Sands of Destruction…
