Comic-Con 2011: GoldenEye 007 Reloaded may be announced for Xbox 360, PS3

MTV Multiplayer reports that Activision’s GoldenEye 007 remake for the Wii is now coming to HD consoles as GoldenEye 007 Reloaded.

Screenshots have hit and Activision will likely talk about the project more at San Diego Comic-Con 2011. The game garnered decent reviews so it’s not surprising Activision would want to bring it to consoles with more dedicated online support. There’s also trophies and achievements to think about. It reviewed well but the Wii isn’t really the console of choice for gamers that love shooters.

Review: Cars 2 movie in 3D

Disney-Pixar has certainly perfected the art of computer animation, especially when it comes to making otherwise inanimate and non-living objects talk, but some of the sweetness and storytelling fell to the side with this very Mater-centric movie.

Bullet-Point Preview: Cars 2 movie in 3D

I saw an advance screening last night of Cars 2 in a 3D theater with my four-year-old son. His initial response was, “Too much mean” (but more on that in the upcoming review).

Cars 2 includes much of the original Cars voice cast as well as a multitude of new vehicles and appropriate voices. This time around Team McQueen, as they are now known, travel around the world for international races against different vehicles to show the potential power of alternative fuel. After a comedy of errors, Mater is sucked into an international spy adventure that intertwines with the rest of the team’s adventures.

Without revealing too much, here’s a slightly enigmatic, purposefully partially vague bullet-point preview of Cars 2 to whet your whistle.

Ghost Recon is now following the trend that was set by Splinter Cell and Endwar with the currently available novel titled Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon ($9.99, Berkley Publishing) . David Michaels, the author who brought Splinter Cell and Endwar from games to books, has just put out the first of what may be many Ghost Recon novels.

First thing we have to address is that David Michaels is a pseudonym for…

Playstation Store Update for the week of August 28 to September 3, 2008

Just another typical week at the Playstation Store. Nothing really worth mentioning on the list this time, except that the name of the new James Bond flick reminds me far too much of a Castlevania title. I eagerly await its sequel, Symphony of the Soviets.

Here, do yourselves a big favor. Go and play Samurai Showdown 2 and Ys instead.

If you insist, click through for the complete list…
