Newegg discounts 12 PS3 games in game blowout
Newegg’s got a sale on! A PS3 Game Blowout, to be exact. The site has discounted 12 games, and they’ll stay at a low price until February 15, 2011. I bet some of these would make nice Valentine’s Day gifts. (They wouldn’t be romantic, but they’d be cool!) Best of all, all 12 qualify for free shipping.
Here’s the full list of all the sale games you can get…
10 Games your mother (or grandmother) would love
Mother’s Day is this Sunday (May 9, 2010), and there’s just enough time to get out there and pick something special up for your mother, grandmother or wife. While cards and flowers are nice, a game is just as thoughtful – especially since it’ll last longer. Gamertell Review: Katamari Forever for PS3
The weirdness that is the sticky ball Katamari game franchise is not easy to convey.
It’s wacky, mostly incomprehensible yet inexplicably enjoyable. It’s a game without being game like and fun without reason.
The most recent release, Katamari Forever, takes all that absurdity, bounds it in its own wad of graphical awesomeness and spits it back at you with high-def precision. Sure, it doesn’t make much sense but it sure is a lot of fun.
Sony Home Update: SingStar Dance Club now open, Dizzee Rascal in the VIP area
The new SingStar space is finally open with an animated dancing floor, music video jukebox and a special VIP room currently featuring UK rapper Dizzee Rascal with a store kiosk selling virtual Dizzee merchandise in celebration of the release of his newest CD, Tongue n’ Cheek.
A new mini-game has been added in the FarCry 2 Home Space to Rueben’s office called “Reuben’s Report.”
And, for those who are used to going back to your personal space to unwind and redecorate with your newly earned items, you may find your Alcove Set from the Siren: Ward of Despair game replaced with a rather large knight in shining armor standing in their space instead this week.
