Gamertell Review: Katamari Forever for PS3

The weirdness that is the sticky ball Katamari game franchise is not easy to convey.

It’s wacky, mostly incomprehensible yet inexplicably enjoyable. It’s a game without being game like and fun without reason.

The most recent release, Katamari Forever, takes all that absurdity, bounds it in its own wad of graphical awesomeness and spits it back at you with high-def precision. Sure, it doesn’t make much sense but it sure is a lot of fun.

PlayStation Store Update: Let them eat cake! (August 2 to 8, 2009)

This week’s PlayStation Store is featuring the game Fat Princess for $14.99 for the PlayStation 3, this game is about capturing and keeping your enemies princess while rescuing your own, except there’s just one problem. Available for the PlayStation Portable, Brave Story: New Traveler is available for $14.99. Based loosely on the manga of the same name Brave Story.

This week on PlayStation Home there are several new events taking place that will continue to entertain the PS Home community and one very promising upgrade to one of PS Home’s hangouts.

Comic Con 2009: Namco Bandai’s lineup, Tekken 6 tourney

Namco Bandai has announced its lineup of games that will be playable at its booth (#530) at the 2009 San Diego Comic Con.

NamBam, as I like to call them, is also hosting a four-day Tekken 6 tournament on July 23 through 26, 2009 in Mezzanine Room 17B at the San Diego Convention Center. Sign-ups being daily at 10 a.m. with multiple competitions taking place each day.
