The PS3 Remotext is a device that is designed to be a solution for the multiple input methods the PS3 supports. This controller can be used to play games, control media and handle typing tasks with its slide-out keyboard. For $29.99, the Remotext is cheaper than purchasing the official PS3 DVD/Blu-ray remote and PS3 keypad attachment, but price alone isn’t enough to recommend this over standalone products.

According to Joystiq, Sony’s VP of Sales, Ian Jackson, has announced that the previously delayed keypad for SIXAXIS controllers will be arriving during the first week of December 2008.
