To be perfectly honest, Kmart’s end of year ad is actually a bit of a letdown. In the weeks leading up to Christmas, we were spoiled with gaming coupon promotions and drastic price cuts. The December 26-31, 2011 ad does offer some discounts, to be sure, but they’re mainly on smaller items or games and more »

Tomorrow will bring in the last week before Christmas. That means Sunday’s ad circulars will contain last-minute gift ideas at discounted prices. The Sunday ad for Kmart made its way to my mailbox a couple days ago, and it has a lot of gaming deals lurking inside. There are only a couple instances in which being a Shop Your Way Rewards member comes in handy, but for the most part, these discounts are for everyone.

Kmart’s December 11-17, 2011 sale ad is out and there are a few deals worth investigating this week. The best bets are the consoles, as they all come with some kind of gift card. There are sale games as well, but in most cases they’re only $10 off. And even then, the games that are reduced are mainly the family friendly Wii games that only appeal to a very select audience.

Open your Sunday newspaper tomorrow and you’ll surely find Kmart’s December 4-10, 2011 sale ad waiting inside. As with a few other stores, this ad features some sales that are just as nice as the ones we were seeing around Black Friday, only now you don’t have to worry about waiting outside in the cold or being trampled to get them.

There are four system promotions to keep in mind this week while shopping…

Oh Kmart, it’s not enough that you’re holding a Black Friday sale. You also have to outdo everyone else and hold a Thanksgiving Day sale. Yes, on November 24, 2011, Kmart stores that aren’t in Massachusetts, Maine or Rhode Island will be open from 6am to 9pm with more exclusive deals. I guess some people will be doing more then eating until they explode next Thursday.

Anyways, while the Thanksgiving Day ad isn’t as big as the Black Friday ad, it is still packed with items and deals. Let’s check the list…

Yesterday we told you about Kmart’s Black Friday and after Black Friday sale. While we wait for that to start, Kmart also has a buy one get one half off sale going on right now. This offer will remain valid until November 19. It includes some brand new games and gaming coupons can be used in conjunction with the sale.

Like clockwork, another Black Friday ad has leaked. This time, we’re taking a look at Kmart’s Black Friday offerings. Kmart has spent the past year or so getting gamers in the door by giving away gaming coupons with new releases. Seeing as how Black Friday prices are lower than usual anyway, gaming coupons aren’t playing a big role this time. The only gaming coupon offered is worth $25 after purchasing a 3DS bundle with Super Mario Land 3D. Everything else has been discounted by at least $5.

As always, Kmart is catering to gamers November 6-12, 2011, just as it does every week. It doesn’t want to just get in the people who want the newest, big name games though. It wants everyone to come in and shop. To start things off right, Kmart has three general offers for Shop Your Way Reward Members. (It’s free to sign up for that.) If you buy over $40 worth of games, you get a $15 gaming coupon on your receipt for a future purchase. If you spend over $110 on games, you get a $50 gaming coupon. Finally, if you spend $20 or more on Doritos or Mountain Dew, you get a $10 gaming coupon.

Since Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (PS3, Xbox 360, Windows) is among the biggest releases this week, most of Kmart’s deals revolve around that series….
