Europe gets its Vita launch lineup

Japan knows its Vita launch lineup, Europe knows what it’s getting from first-party publishersand North America is still waiting patiently. The PlayStation Vita doesn’t get released around the world outside of Japan until February 22, 2012, so those of us in North America can stand waiting just a little longer. Today, Sony confirmed the first-party games that will launch alongside the Vita. There are a lot of familiar sounding titles on the list as well as some surprises.

Nintendo reveals North America 3DS launch titles

Nintendo has finalized launch plans for the North American launch of the 3DS on March 27, 2011. Nintendo will have three self-published titles available on day one for $39.99. Those games are Pilotwings Resort, Steel Diver and nintendogs + cats. Nintendo also promises that more than 30 games will be available for the 3DS by the start of E3 on June 7.

Nintendo hasn’t figured out 3DS launch titles yet

Nintendo revealed a ton of games for the 3DS which it expects to be available by June 2011. The lineup includes Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D, Ridge Racer 3D, Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition and over 20 more games. However, Nintendo isn’t sure which games will be sitting alongside the 3DS when the handheld releases on March 27.
