Legacy Interactive working on Twilight Zone and Psych games
Legacy Interactive is continuing its push to convert beloved TV shows into casual hidden object games. Right now it’s working on two adaptations, one based on something old and the other on something new. First, it will be releasing Psych on Windows and Macs in 2011, and later Windows and Mac owners will get Twilight Zone in 2012…

Gamertell Preview: House, M.D. for Windows PC
Legacy Interactive and Glyphic Entertainment are currently working House, M.D., a casual PC and DS game based on the TV series of the same name. I was fortunate enough to get some hands on time with the Windows PC version of the game, which will be released in September, 2010, to coincide with the new season. So let’s take a look at what the virtual House cases are like.
Much like the actual TV series, the cases in House, M.D. are separated into episodes. After exploring the main menu, it looks like you can return to any of the five episodes at any time, after you’ve completed one. Since this was my first time playing I decided to just start fresh with a new game and Episode 1: Globetrotting.
An episode of the House M.D. game begins and proceeds much like an episode from the TV show. An old man named Henry Richter, host of the show Globetrotting!, is just finishing an episode in Malaysia when he falls ill…

Gamertell Review: Max and the Magic Marker for Windows and Mac
What would happen if everything you drew came to life, even if what you drew was an evil purple monster? Well that is just what happened to Max in Max and the Magic Marker.
One day a little boy named Max received a package in the mail that contained a strange magic marker. He decided to draw a purple monster with it, and it immediately came to life and jumped into another picture he drew of his house. Max knew he must stop this monster so he quickly drew himself in the picture…
Gamertell Review: The Lost Cases of Sherlock Holmes 2 for PC
Grab your magnifying glass and pipe and join Holmes and Watson in The Lost Cases of Sherlock Holmes 2 . That’s right, Holmes is back and needs your help in solving the various crimes he is assigned. The Lost Cases is a hidden object puzzle game where you not only find items and solve puzzles, but you also help Holmes and Watson solve a mystery.
There are 16 cases to solve in The Lost Cases of Sherlock Holmes 2, and after every 4 you unlock a bonus case. Each case proceeds in the same manner, it starts out with a hidden item puzzle, where you search for the items that are hidden on the screen, or find out what is different about two pictures. Then, as you click on specific items you find, you activate different puzzle games where you have to build a ship in a bottle or piece a vase back together, among other things. To finish the case, you do a couple other puzzle type games to limit out the suspect. In between each puzzle you get to see some dialogue between Holmes, Watson and other characters, and you get to see the case progress…

E3 2009: House M.D. and Murder, She Wrote are getting virtual counterparts
Legacy Interactive recently created some casual games based on classic teen movies Clueless, Pretty in Pink and Mean Girls. Now, the company has announced at E3 2009 that it is teaming up with Universal Pictures Digital Platforms Group to create games based on TV series. Get ready for House M.D. for the PC and DS and Murder, She Wrote for the PC. Release dates aren’t available for either game.
The House M.D. game will allow players to solve five cases with House, Taub and Thirteen. The press release doesn’t mention if Foreman or Kutner will be appearing, but I sincerely hope both characters show up. The goal of the game is to do what the team does in the show, diagnose patients who have unknown and mysterious diseases. Since it will also be a DS release, I’m guessing there’ll be some sort of touch screen controls or medical puzzles implemented. Seems like it will be a more serious mystery game.
On the other hand, Murder, She Wrote sounds like a leisurely, casual romp…
Gamertell Review: Pretty in Pink for PC
Pretty in Pink is the final entry in the OMG! High School series from Legacy Interactive, a series of games based on popular teen movies for girls. Like Mean Girls and Clueless, the two prior releases, Pretty in Pink is tells the story by focusing on one game from the casual genre.
Gamertell Review: Clueless for PC
The Clueless game saps out most of the poignant, endearing and clever sentiment and dialogue that was present in the original Clueless movie. It isn’t a bad game, it just doesn’t properly pay homage to the source material. I could see young children and teenagers falling in love with the Clueless game, with all of its dress-up potential. Older gamers who remembered or loved the movie may still spend an enjoyable afternoon or two with the game, but will find themselves longing for the real thing.
Besides, when you don’t really have to expend a lot of effort, or even color coordinate to win, its difficult for older gamers to sit still and play.
Clueless is best suited for younger fans of the OMG! High School series Legacy Interactive and Paramount Digital Entertainment are releasing, while Mean Girls: High School Showdown…
