The Chinese console you’ve never heard of gets delayed
The launch of a new console in China has been delayed into February. The console known as the eBox was supposed to release this month, but has undergone a delay to allow its developer to spend more time refining and optimizing its software.

Although Gamertell doesn’t normally report on desserts, my delicious encounter with a creation made by the one and only Charm City Cakes> compelled me to write about it. For those who don’t know, Charm City Cakes is a bakery and the focus of the Food Network’s hit reality series Ace of Cakes. As a giant fan of the show, I’d often dreamed about someday trying their cakes, and I finally got the chance during a pre-CES party hosted by Lenovo.
Lenovo releasing a game-worthy netbook, the IdeaPad S12
Lenovo and NVidia are currently working on a new netbook and, from the description, there will be a lot to offer in this laptop for the gaming population.
Using the NVidia Ion graphics technology, Lenovo’s IdeaPad S12 is said to have enough graphics power for full 1080i HD playback and Blu-ray support as well as having a graphics processor powerful enough to be able to offer full HD performance for many of the newer games out there. This doesn’t mean that you’ll be able to support them without a problem since some of the specs are low. Then again, for a starting price of $449 you get what you pay for in terms of power.
CES 2009: Lenovo to show off IdeaCentre gaming PC with remote controller
We shouldn’t count the PC market out of the casual gaming market just yet. This generation has rammed motion controls into our brains courtesy of the Nintendo Wii and Lenovo is hoping to capitalize on the idea.
The company has revealed the IdeaCentre A600 All-in-One Desktop that comes with a controller similar to a Wii Remote. Lenovo even has some games that take advantage of the remote right out of the box. One such bowling game uses the remote to, well, bowl. Lenovo is working on more games to use with the remote but isn’t ready to name any titles yet.
