Atari to release Project Runway game for Wii

Atari announced late last week (October 9, 2009) that it is planning to release a series of games based on the Weinstein Company’s reality series, Project Runway.

The games will be developed by Tornado Studions and are expected to be available Spring 2010. According to the corporate press release – which first mentioned a series of games and then went on to describe a singular game – gamers will play as an aspiring fashion designer who will have to complete challenges similar to those on the TV series. The game will induce voices from the series and utilize the Wii Balance Board accessory so that players can “become the model and strut their creations down the runway.”

Games at MyLifetime to get fit

Vivity Labs’ Fit Brains games will soon be appearing in Lifetime’s myLifetime.com game section. Lifetime’s official site features casual games that mature women would enjoy. Since games which help train the brain only seem to gain popularity, Lifetime wants to bring them to its loyal visitors. So far the Fit Brains titles that will be joining Flash Dating, Sally’s Spa, Movie Mah-Jong and Lifetime Movie Mash-up have not been announced.

The Fit Brains games from Vivity Labs are designed to improve players’ concentration, language skills, logic and reasoning skills, memory and visual-spacial skills. If you continue to regularly play, it will supposedly make a difference. The Fit Brains games also track users performance so people can see if it really is working.
