Sony releasing three more PSP Dual Packs in January 2012
As the PSP creeps ever closer to its inevitable end, Sony still attempts to do little things to encourage people to pick up games for the system. It doesn’t try to extend its lifespan or make its demise more comfortable with really awesome, last minute games. Instead, it releases dual packs of existing games at budget prices. The Japanese PlayStation Store is finally back online!
The Great PlayStation Network Outage of 2011 first went down on April 20, 2011. North American, European, Australian and some Asian gamers went 24 days without any PSN services until they were restored May 15, 2011. They had to wait until June 1, 2011 to get access to the PlayStation Store again. Of course, that seems like nothing compared to what Japanese and other Asian territories have had to go through. Initial PlayStation Network services only first resumed there on May 28, 2011 and now, after over two months, the Japanese PlayStation Store is finally back online….
LocoRoco sequel to be released February 2009
Fans of popular Playstation Portable title LocoRoco will soon have the opportunity to maneuver those colorful blobs once again. Sony announced that this title’s sequel, appropriately labeled , LocoRoco 2, will see release on February 10, 2009, just after the holidays and right after the gaming community is recovering from either purchasing, playing, or completing the wide variety of releases distributed over the previous year.
