LocoRoco 2 for the PSP should be in a store near you by now, since it came out on February 10, 2009. But maybe you didn’t have the funds or means to acquire a copy yet, even if you really, really wanted one. Sony wants to help, so it’s announced the Don’t Worry, Get Loco! Sweepstakes.

You simply visit the Don’t Worry, Get Loco! Sweepstakes page at PlayStation.com, enter your information in the box at the bottom of the page, and hope that when the contest ends on March 17, 2009, you’ll be one of the lucky 104 winners chosen.

The prizes are pretty nifty – even the Second Prize Packages. The two grand prize winners will each get a PSP-3000, LocoRoco 2, a Sony Ericsson W760 Walkman Handset that has the cell phone game…

LocoRoco sequel to be released February 2009

Fans of popular Playstation Portable title LocoRoco will soon have the opportunity to maneuver those colorful blobs once again. Sony announced that this title’s sequel, appropriately labeled , LocoRoco 2, will see release on February 10, 2009, just after the holidays and right after the gaming community is recovering from either purchasing, playing, or completing the wide variety of releases distributed over the previous year.

According to the Playstation Blog, this sequel is expected to feature items including “story-driven stages, unlockable quests, and a new twist to the game’s catchy music.” The game is also expected to employ multiplayer features via…

Lucky Europeans get LocoRoco 2 Flash minigame

If you’re a LocoRoco fan, you don’t have to head to the PlayStation Store to sample a demo of LocoRoco 2‘s gameplay. Instead, you can visit Spil Games’ Games.co.uk site to play a Flash LocoRoco 2 minigame. It isn’t up for very long though. When LocoRoco 2 for the PSP comes out on November 21, 2008 in Europe, the Flash minigame will be removed from Spil Games’ site.

Its fairly simple to play. You use the left and right arrow keys on your computer to control the actions, like the shoulder buttons you use for the original LocoRoco and LocoRoco 2 games. There are six different levels to play, and the goal in each level is to make flowers bloom by rolling over a wilted flower with the proper color LocoRoco…
