Wii Virtual Console update for February 11-17, 2008
This week on the Virtual Console, the quality (if not the quantity) takes a decided upturn from last week’s offerings: quirky SNES RPG Harvest Moon and TGFX-16 shooter Lords of Thunder are on tap. Harvest Moon is a beloved classic from the twilight days of the SNES, a farm simulator/RPG that still oozes charm, and Lords of Thunder is a fantasy-themed, heavy metal blasting shooter from the glory days of the ’90s. All VC titles are available on the Wii Shop channel, with a fresh batch arriving every Monday at 9 AM PST. Wii points can be purchased at a rate of $1=100 points. The new games bring the North American count to 201.
