Nintendo to offer game demos at malls across the country

Just when you thought you’d hate going to the mall to shop for the holidays, Nintendo decides to actually make the experience fun. From November 22nd to December 19th 2010, the company will set up demo stations at 23 malls across the country for you (and of course, your kids) to check out some games that you may or may not want to buy for Christmas…or as a present to yourself.

Cammy Dunaway left Nintendo to head KidZania

Cammy Dunaway used to be the executive vice president of sales & marketing at Nintendo before submitting her resignation last month. Dunaway will now become the U.S. president and global marketing officer of KidZania. KidZania is an organization that creates replicas of cities designed for children aged 1-13.

PlayStation Home Update: New Villain’s Lair at the Mall

The newest space available at the Real Estate store is the Villian’s Lair for $5.99 which features two mini-games, Village Griefer and World Domination, a huge aquarium full of exotic fish and a shark, hot molten lava and a laser protected trophy room.

And, of course, a big ol’ list of new stuff for your avatar.

Sony Home Update: Criss Angel Mindfreak exclusives on Home

This week members of the Sony Home community are treated to exclusive clips from Criss Angel’s upcoming show and an exclusive limited time free item at the theater now through Aug. 12, 2009. The free item is a coffin-style sofa for their personal spaces, also, while watching the clip players will be entered into a give away for one of two real-life coffins used in Criss Angel: Mindfreak and one of three Criss Angel: Burn DVDs and books. Only five winners will be selected and to participate register and log on to Sony Home and visit Auditorium 1 to watch the video. Players can find the Theater in Central Plaza or by selecting the space from the World Map.

There really isn’t anything new going on space wise on home but there are a few new items available at the shopping mall located in Central Plaza, check it out:

Sony’s PlayStation 3 Home is expanding new worlds to explore and have added extra features to an existing worlds.

A Godfather II Casino space has opened and Sony Home is working with EA on the upcoming Sports Complex. There are more game-related costumes and action figure dolls have arrived. Also, to help make things interesting, the puzzles in Xi:The Hub are getting even more challenging.
