ESRB’s official statement regarding Manhunt 2

ESRB’s president Patricia Vance has issued an official statement to the press in response to the controversy regarding the Entertainment Software Rating Board’s ratings for the gory game, Manhunt 2 , changing from “Adult Only” (AO) now to “Mature” (M) for the revised version of the game.

August 28, 2007 – “Upon reviewing the modified version of Manhunt 2, the ESRB assigned a rating of M (Mature 17+) with content descriptors for Intense Violence, Blood and Gore, Strong Language, Strong Sexual Content and Use of Drugs.
