VGA 2011 Mass Effect 3 trailer takes place on Tuchanka
One of the big reveals for the 2011 Video Game Awards on Spike was a new Mass Effect 3 trailer. Now, it wasn’t the FemShep trailer fans have been waiting for. (Serious, why is that taking so long?) Instead, it provided almost two minutes of in-game footage showing Commander Shepard and two of his crew as they raced to complete a mission on Tuchanka, the Krogan homeworld, before a Reaper shot and/or stepped on them.
Spike’s uploaded all the world premiere trailers from the event, so let’s go ahead and watch the one for Mass Effect 3 right now….

It’s finally moving forward now, and the Legendary Pictures July 22, 2011 panel at Comic-Con International 2011 in San Diego will tell us how things are going and give attendees to talk about it.
Legendary Pictures first got the all clear to work on a Mass Effect movie back in May 2010. From there, the project completely dropped from the radar…

You loved playing Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2, so EA and Funimation are betting you’ll like watching it too. The two entertainment powerhouses are working with T.O Entertainment to put together a Mass Effect anime. Well, techincally an animated, direct to video movie. So I guess that would make it a Mass Effect OVA (original video animation).
There are no details on the Mass Effect OVA’s storyline…
