Metal Gear has always placed a great emphasis on stealth and secrets and Konami is treating the newest installment with “if we tell you we’ll have to kill you” care. Thus, we aren’t leaving E3 with exactly a full dossier on Metal Gear Solid:Rising. Konami launching Commemorative Campaign (read: free stuff) for Metal Gear Online
Been playing some Metal Gear Online lately? Probably not but if you do have an account you might want to log in November 25, 2008, through December 9, 2008, as Konami will be giving all players who log into their Metal Gear Online accounts 10,000 reward points that they can use to spruce up those dusty characters at in the game’s shop.
It’s just one part of Konami’s “Commemorative Campaign” for its online war game, which is a celebration of achieving over one million members. The catch is that the points won’t be awarded until after December 9, 2008.

Metal Gear Memorial: Remembering the many years of the Snake
I can’t wait for my copy of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots but I don’t want to say goodbye to elite agent Solid Snake, whom we’ve grown to love while following his adventures.
We pray that rumors of an end are not true and continue to pose theories about why the series could never end. Even so, as a preemptive memorial to help cope with the denial that this may be the absolute last game for Snake, here is a look at the MGS franchise….
