Unlocking Guybrush in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2
Guybrush Threepwood, the might pirate from the Monkey Island games is in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II. He just doesn’t make a cameo appearance either. Guybrush is fully playable. The Force Unleashed II won’t be released until October 26, but someone has already figured out how to unlock Guybrush.

The islands could not hold him. The seas could not tame him. Now the mighty pirate known as Guybrush Threepwood faces a challenge that is worthy enough for his character. Guybrush will go head to head with the galaxy’s most ruthless armies and creatures in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II.
LucasArts E3 2010 lineup
Today (June 8, 2010) we’re adding LucasArts to the list of companies who have revealed the games it’s bringing to E3 2010. This list comes from the LucasArts Twitter account. It’s not a complete list, but it’s all we have for now. We’ll update as soon as LucasArts announces more titles.
PS Home Update: Quest for the Golden Gun in SOCOM, New Updated Spaces and travel to Monkey Island
You can now buy the Monkey Island Ghost Pirate Ship Personal Space. This space is huge but, if you’re sensitive to colors, this may be a bit harsh on your eyes (as you can see in the video). You can also get a new SOCOM space, IREM Square Bon Festival has a new vendor and the Gamer’s Lounge gets a major update. don’t miss the giant list o’ new stuffs as well…
Monkey Island 2 gets a special edition release
The Secret of Monkey Island got a special edition reimagining, so it seems only fair that Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge gets the same treatment. Fortunately, LucasArts is happy to oblige, and has just announced Monkey Island 2 Special Edition: LeChuck’s Revenge for the iPhone, iPod Touch, PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. There’s no definite release date yet, but it has a Summer 2010 release window.
Like The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition, Monkey Island 2 Special Edition: LeChuck’s Revenge will be an updated and enhanced version of the original point-and-click adventure game featuring more of Guybrush Threepwood’s quest to become the best pirate. There’ll be full voice acting, the ability to control Guybrush and not use point-and-click controls, an object hint system, audio commentary, voice acting and, of course, remastered and enhanced graphics and music…
Gamertell Review: Tales of Monkey Island 4: Rise of the Pirate God
The final chapter in our epic adventure of pirating and voodoo curses, Rise of the Pirate God, has finally arrived.
Due to the circumstances of the previous episode (which I won’t spoil in case you have yet to play it), you are now a ghost and at the crossroads of the pirate afterlife where you must choose your eternal fate. Because you are a pirate, your choices are an afterlife of thievery, swordplay or treasure hunting.
Gamertell Review: Tales of Monkey Island: The Trial and Execution of Guybrush Threepwood for PC
The Trial and Execution of Guybrush Threepwood is the newest episode in the Tales of Monkey Island by Telltale games. In the beginning, Guybrush is being hauled back to Flotsam Island, courtesy of the backstabbing Morgan. Once there, he is summoned to court to face charges for various thing he is accused of doing. Of course, each accusation is false and you must now break out of jail and get yourself free of all charges and avoid the violent hanging that awaits you.
Oh, and you also have to cure the island of the pox as well.
You will see a familiar face in this game taking the form of the prosecution. I won’t name names but let’s just say you will see plenty of loud jackets and flying arms.
Gamertell Review: Tales of Monkey Island: Lair of the Leviathan for PC
What do huge manatees, mutinous crews, and voodoo curses all have in common? The third installment of Tales of Monkey Island: Lair of Leviathan!
In the last episode, our hero Guy Brush and his ship were swallowed whole by an insanely large manatee. Once inside, Guy Brush finds out that the explorer (who is now a bit loopy) he has been looking for was also swallowed intentionally by the beast so that he could it to get to Le Sponge Egrande, which happens to be at the manatee mating ground.
Guy Brush will need the help of the explorers mutinous crew (who would prefer to just live in the manatee forever), to escape the beast, and eventually get to the sponge. But that’s not all; you also have to learn to speak manatee to seduce the rather vicious Leviathan: a large, angry, female manatee that guards the sponge.
