This week’s casual game update is just for Windows gamers. It’s purely accidental though, as no new Mac casual games happened to be released this week. If it makes you feel any better, there weren’t too many new casual games released overall this week – only six.

The real highlight is probably Legend of Fae. It’s similar to Puzzle Quest, which means it is a casual match-3 game with RPG elements. On the top part of the screen, a young sorceress named Claudia and her elements are fighting monsters. You support her and help her succeed by finding matches on the grid below. It could be worth a look, if you like that kind of thing.

At E3 2008, Activision and a representative of id announced that they are working on a follow up for Return to Castle Wolfenstein. Details at the moment are hard to find, outside of the press conference given at E3.
