Gather monsters in Gabrielle’s Monster Match to recover her soul
Ghostly little Gabrielle is back again. Our favorite, explosive sneezer first appeared on the Wii in Gabrielle’s Ghostly Groove: Monster Mix, then on the 3DS in Gabrielle’s Ghostly Groove 3D. She’s an iOS star now, following her debut in Gabrielle’s Monster Match, the first game in the series that doesn’t involve dancing.
Harvest Moon: Tale of Two Towns 3DS gets a lucky 11/1/11 launch date
It’s time for Harvest Moon: Tale of Two Towns! You’ll be forgiven if you suddenly develop a case of deja vu and think you’ve heard that before. Odds are, you have. That’s because last month, Harvest Moon: Tale of Two Towns was released on the DS. Now it’s the 3DS’ turn.
The story and premise for both versions is identical…
Welcome in fall by playing Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny
When it comes to Natsume releases, they kind of sneak up on you. Sure, you usually get a release window, but it isn’t uncommon for said window to mean absolutely nothing. Now, when we get an actual release date from Natsume, that’s when things get real. So when the company says the PS3 and Wii RPG and simulation Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny will be out on September 27, 2011, odds are they mean it.
Yes, Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny is a multiplatform adventure, but it isn’t available on all systems…
Wii Rescue: Rune Factory Tides of Destiny
Wii owners are feeling a little hurt these days, what with Nintendo basically turning them back on them until the Wii U rolls around. No Xenoblade? No Last Story? No Pandora’s Tower? Don’t storm off in a huff; dig around to see what Wii games are coming out this year. A decent place to begin your search is at Natsume’s Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny.
E3 2011: Natsume’s is bringing 4 games this year
The E3 2011 lineup announcements go on! The newest one is from one of my favorite, niche publishers, Natsume. It’s going to have a booth again this year and there will be four games to test out there. Three are already announced 3DS and DS games, and the fourth is a highly anticipated PS3 and Wii game Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny…
Review: Gabrielle’s Ghostly Groove: Monster Mix for Wii
It’s been over a year since Natsume first started talking about Gabrielle’s Ghostly Groove, and now the first part of this rhythm adventure is finally here. The WiiWare incarnation, known as Gabrielle’s Ghostly Groove: Monster Mix, isn’t as robust as the eventual 3DS game will be. It’s still just as adorable though, and offers a rather simplistic dancing experience for people who want a movement-based music game, but don’t want to bother with the Just Dance series. Besides, the characters are just charming…
Rune Factory: Oceans turns to Tides of Destiny
Rune Factory: Oceans is getting a North American release! Only, it won’t be Rune Factory: Oceans here. Natsume’s localizing the PS3 and Wii game as Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny, which sounds much more appealing and mysterious, if you ask me. Plus, it’s going to make its English language debut next month at E3 2011…
Gabrielle’s Ghostly Groove: Monster Mix finally appears in May
I can’t believe it – Gabrielle’s Ghostly Groove didn’t slip into cracks and fade into obscurity! It was only natural to be worried, since Natsume didn’t say anything about the creepy-cute dancing game after E3 2010, but now we can all enjoy a sigh of relief. Not only is the portable Gabrielle’s Ghostly Groove game appearing on the 3DS sometime this year, the WiiWare incarnation will be out next month.
Yes, you’ll want to pay close attention to the May 16, 2011 Nintendo Downloads update, because that’s when Gabrielle’s Ghostly Groove: Monster Mix will make its debut…
Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns will be a DS and 3DS game
Harvest Moon games are addicting. You play one, odds are you’ll play another, even though the gameplay doesn’t vary much among entries. So many people will be pleased to know Natsume has picked up Marvelous Entertainment’s Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns for a North American release. I guess we’ll need to get our DS and 3DSes ready for some farming goodness…
Gabrielle’s Ghostly Groove ditches the DS, heads to the 3DS
I hope you weren’t terribly excited about Natsume’s DS game Gabrielle’s Ghostly Groove. You know, it’s the one where you were going help a purple-haired little girl who sneezed so hard that her soul flew away get back to her body and life by dancing with adorable monsters. If you noticed the use of the word “were” instead of “are” up there, then you probably release that the DS version is deceased. Instead, the project has been moved to the 3DS. So bad news for some, good news for others…
