Jak and Daxter HD

Good news for those who can’t get enough of HD remakes. Naughty Dog is making up for not having a new Jak and Daxter game for PS3 by re-releasing the first three games in the franchise.

How to get The Last of Us dynamic theme for free

Naughty Dog recently revealed its latest project entitled The Last of Us last week during the VGAs. We don’t know a whole lot about the game, but it has survival horror elements in a plague-ravaged United States. We’re bound to find out a lot more after the holidays, but we’ll have to settle for a dynamic theme for now.

Naughty Dog reveals its latest post-apocalyptic game, The Last of Us

Naughty Dog is taking a big step back from the world of Uncharted in its next PS3 exclusive game called The Last of Us. We were teased about this title in the days leading up to the Spike TV Video Game Awards, and now it’s all clear. The Last of Us is a post-apocalyptic game, but the world was not destroyed by bombs or an alien threat. The culprit this time is a modern plague.

Uncharted 3 adopts Play, Create, Share motif

A select number of PS3-exclusive games have benefitted from the creations of the community that supports them. Sony uses the Play, Create, Share moniker to describe games that let players put their own personal twist into online games. LittleBigPlanet, ModNation Racers and inFamous 2 have all allowed players to create their own levels and share them across the network. With Uncharted 3, you won’t be creating custom multiplayer levels, but it does include support for Facebook and Uncharted TV.

Uncharted 3 next in line to require PSN Pass

Uncharted 3 will be the second PS3-exclusive game to use the company’s PSN Pass. The PSN Pass is a one-time-use code that will come with new copies of the game. It enables players to access the multiplayer components in Uncharted 3, which is something Naughty Dog and Sony have been promoting. This confirmation comes from an interview conducted by The Vault with the manager of software for Sony Spain, Juan Jimenez

Naughty Dog removes some features from Uncharted 3 beta

As we reported earlier, the Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta 1.01 patch was released many, many hours ago. Some problems remain for some, but we can say things have greatly improved on our end. We had to make a bold assessment as to what the patch actually did based on the improvements we’ve witnessed. Naughty Dog posted the patch notes this evening that breaks down everything that was tweaked.

Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta patch released

Naughty Dog released the first patch for the Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta in the dead of night. The patch was created to address a number of serious concerns regarding the beta’s playability. When it was released, players were experiencing console freezes, game-breaking glitches, tons of lag and long connecting times.

Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta filled with bugs, Naughty Dog on the case

You’ve waited quite a while for the Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta to be released and today, that wait has come to an end. As soon as the beta went live, many people rushed to the PlayStation Store and downloaded the 1.7GB file. All was well until they found out the Uncharted 3 beta was virtually unplayable.

Naughty Dog drops details on the Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta

The Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta is less than 24 hours from going live on the PlayStation Network. Tomorrow (June 28, 2011) at around 2pm PDT, the beta will be available to purchasers of inFamous 2 and all PlayStation Plus subscribers (aka everybody). Naughty Dog has taken this opportunity to let fans in on what they can expect to see when the beta launches.

Uncharted 3 gets deep Facebook and YouTube integration

Uncharted 2 contained a feature that sent out tweets whenever you completed a chapter. This lead to far too many updates and some users became annoyed with this attempt to utilize social networks in games. With Uncharted 3, Naughty Dog is using Facebook and YouTube to connect players without ever leaving the game.
