Return to Neverland on your PSP with the Neverland Card Battles demo

People who’ve registered their PSPs with a US PlayStation Store account will want to stop by today for a freebie, because a Neverland Card Battles demo is now available. In it, you get to see the beginning of the game. You’ll be able to watch the opening movie and go through the tutorial mode, so you can see exactly how Neverland Card Battles works. Then, you’ll be able to play a level of the game to test the newfound skills learned in the tutorial.

Remember, the PlayStation Store has changed. To access the PlayStation Store’s PSP content, you either have to download and install Sony’s free Media Manager (for Windows PCs only) to your computer or have firmware 5.00 or better on your PSP…

Play your cards in Neverland on the PSP

YUKE’S Company of America and Atlus will be teaming up to bring Idea Factory’s strategic, card-based RPG Neverland Card Battles to North America. Come October, 2008, PSP owners will be able to pick up the title, which will also feature new cut-scenes, tweaked controls, ad hoc multiplayer card battles and optimized music and graphics. Neverland Card Battles is known as Cardinal Arc Portable in Japan, and is a port of a Japanese PS2 called Cardinal Arc: Konton no Fuusatsu.

In Neverland Card Battles, players take the side of Galahad, a Dominator who is collecting Spectral Cards so he can seal Hellgaia. A war has been raging in Neverland between the humans and demons, and Hellgaia could break free if the fight escalates. As Galahard, you try to collect territories and fight to make sure that doesn’t happen.
