Mobage goes worldwide

You better start paying attention when you hear news about DeNA Mobage-town games. Mobage is about to become a global thing. Now that DeNA’s acquired ngmoco and it’s Plus +, it’s going to bring Mobage to people around the world. It’s Mobage Smartphone SDK with ngCore is already in private beta.

ngmoco will be purchased for $400 million

ngmoco, the extremely popular iPhone game developer behind such works as We Rule, Rolando and GodFinger, is about to be acquired by DeNA. DeNA is a Japanese company that has found great success in social gaming. DeNA is known for Mobage-town which is a social network designed for mobile phones.

Google Ventures sinks millions into ngmoco

This could be yet another sign of Google amassing its own army of committed developers to provide games on its still unofficial social networking service called Google Me.

I may be dating myself, but it looks like Dr. Awesome, Microsurgeon M.D. is a lot like that old puzzle game, Qix. You have to narrow down the playing field and contain the virus in a small area to save the patient…
