Southpark’s Jew character class is bound to offend
South Park has always pushed the boundaries of what is considered politically correct. The offensive nature of South Park is also going to be present in the upcoming RPG South Park: The Game. We previously learned about the fighter, mage, thief and cleric classes players can choose from (although earlier reports used different names). The fifth class was also revealed recently and it’s truly a first for video games. Ladies and gents, the fifth character class is Jew.
Game Informer reader posts details on South Park: The Game
We knew it would only be a matter of time before some Game Informer reader posted information regarding the recently revealed Obsidian-developed RPG South Park: The Game on the internet. We now know a ton of information including four of the five character classes (adventurer, paladin, rogue and wizard), the gameplay style and little touches thrown in by South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone.
Obsidian and THQ bringing us South Park: The Game
A new South Park game is currently in development at Obsidian, and will be published by THQ. South Park: The Game was revealed today as the January 2012 cover game for Game Informer magazine. As with all Game Informer reveals, details will be very scarce until either the magazine reaches subscriber’s mailboxes, or until someone leaks the article online.
Check out Fallout: New Vegas Honest Hearts, Old World Blues and The Lonesome Road DLC
Dead Money is going to have some company soon. Over the next three months, Bethesda and Obsidian Entertainment are going to release three new Fallout: New Vegas add-on adventures. Yes, they’ll all be released in a row and on all platforms at the same time. There are no exclusivity arrangements or three to five month waits for each $9.99 DLC pack.
Honest Hearts will be released first and should be available for the PS3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC on May 17, 2011, provided the PlayStation Store is actually back online by then…
New Fallout: New Vegas patch fixes old patch
Earlier this week, Bethesda released a patch that was meant to improve stability, fix bugs and tweak weapon attributes in Fallout: New Vegas. The problem is that the Xbox 360 patch ruined the game. Players were having a hard time getting their saves to load. On top of that, the game was crashing more than usual. This morning, another patch was released for Xbox 360 that promised to fix the loading problem.
Newest Fallout: New Vegas patch breaks Xbox 360 version
Fallout: New Vegas has been known for the huge number of bugs that were around when the game first came out. For weeks, it was quite risky to play because saves could become corrupted or the game just could have frozen up for no reason. Obsidian released patches that cleared things up for the most part, but the newest patch has broken things yet again.
Dark Horse Comics and Square Enix prepare Dungeon Siege III web comic
You will not believe it, Dungeon Siege III is going to be out on May 31, 2011! It’s only a little over two months away! Aren’t you just so excited? Yeah, I’m not all that hyped about it either. I suppose it’s the flurry of releases like BulletStorm, Crysis 2, Pokemon White/Black and Dragon Age II that make it difficult to worked up about Dungeon Siege III. Sure, it’s good news, but it may not inspire the same buzz as other games. Hopefully, Dark Horse Comics and Square Enix’s new digital comic will help with that…
Project Nevada does what Fallout: New Vegas didn’t
Bethesda has done a great job of supporting the modding community. It has provided tools for gamers to make alterations to its games as much as they like. Some clever creators have made drastic changes to games such as Oblivion and Fallout 3. Best of all, the entire PC community can download these mods for free. One of the bigger alterations for Fallout: New Vegas comes from a mod called Project Nevada.
Fallout: New Vegas DLC could take us to The Big Empty
Fallout: New Vegas‘ first DLC entitled Dead Money was recently released on December 21, 2010 for Xbox 360. It’s very likely that Bethesda and Obsidian are planning even more DLC as time goes on. G4 pieced together evidence that suggests the location and possible plot for a future expansion.
Watch Fallout: New Vegas Dead Money before you buy it
You may have to wait until next week to play the first Fallout: New Vegas DLC, but that doesn’t mean you have to wait five more days to see it. A Fallout: New Vegas Dead Money DLC trailer has just released and it does a pretty nice job of explaining the situation and showing Xbox 360 players what they’ll be experiencing on December 21, 2010.
The Fallout: New Vegas Dead Money trailer is bloody and violent, so don’t let kids watch it. Okay…
