Wii Virtual Console and WiiWare update for March 2, 2009

After last week’s explosive C64 debut, things are a bit more sedate in this week’s Wii download services update. But that’s not to say we don’t have a couple of solid selections for your early March enjoyment. First up, Family & Friends Party sounds like a decent, cheaper alternative to the glut of full-priced party games appearing for the Wii. Old-schoolers will definitely want to get their mitts onOgre Battle: The March of the Black Queen, our sole Virtual Console entry. As always, the titles are available on the Wii Shop channel, with a fresh batch arriving every Monday at 9 AM Pacific time. Wii points can be purchased at a rate of $1 for 100 points.
