PS3 firmware 3.21 removes Linux support

Sony is disabling this feature due to security concerns. We probably wouldn’t be too far off with assuming Sony is primarily removing the “Install Other OS” feature to help combat piracy. Owners of PS3 Slim consoles don’t have to worry about this change as it only affects consoles released prior to September 2009.

Windows 7 and gaming possibilities

Recently Windows 7 beta went live for anyone to test for free. One of the questions that pops up is whether or not the upcoming Windows release would support a gamer’s needs better than Vista did. The new OS, even though a bit glitchy since it is still a beta program, will be revamping gaming possibilities for the PC like the Games Explorer program, among other things.
