GamesRadar lists 20 patriotic and 5 unpatriotic games

To celebrate the Fourth of July, GamesRadar has updated with a special story that looks at some of the unflinchingly patriotic video games which have been released over the years. GamesRadar looked through many different titles and declared that America: The Game, 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, Patriotic Pinball, Frontlines: Fuel of War, Halo and Fugitive Hunter, along with 14 other games, really display appreciation for our country.

It also takes the time to look at five games which are decidedly not patriotic. It deems Grand Theft Auto IV, the entire Metal Gear Solid series, JFK Reloaded, BlackSite: Area 51 and American McGee’s Bad Day LA all display inappropriate, un-American behavior. It was a nice little extra to tack that mini-list onto the end of their main list of patriotic stories.
