Well, it isn’t all about Nintendo. The only exceptions will be the $39.99 sale copies of Duke Nukem Forever (PS3, Xbox 360) and UFC Trainer (PS3, Xbox 360).

Let’s start with some special sale promotions…

I know E3 2011 was so one week ago, but a belated product lineup announcement has just come out that gamers may be interested in. PDP, known for various peripherals, both standard and themed, decided to tell people what it had at E3 last week. That way, they’ll know what to look forward to in stores over the next year.

First, the Afterglow product line is expanding with one new controller and some headsets…

PDP announces a line of 3DS accessories

Performance Designed Products is throwing its hat into the accessory ring for the Nintendo 3DS. Known for producing really cool products based on Tron and Epic Mickey, PDP is taking a more standard approach to 3DS accessories. Today the company announced the Pull & Go Folio, Rainbow Telescoping Stylus Pack, Nintendo 3DS Car Charger and the Write & Protect Pack.

The Marvel Edition Versus Fighting Pad provides arcade controls on the cheap

We’ve told you about the Mad Catz FightStick for Marvel vs. Capcom 3, now sit back and relax while we tell you about what Performance Designed Products has in store. PDP has created some neat controllers based on Tron and Epic Mickey. Today the company announced its Marvel Edition Versus Fighting Pad for Xbox 360. Gamertell Review: PDP Epic Mickey Paintbrush Chuk for Wii

Performance Designed Products’ saw Disney Epic Mickey and saw an opportunity to make a really cool Wii accessory. Mickey spends the whole game wielding a paintbrush with the power to unleash magic paint or thinner that will effect the world. So, as a product tie-in, PDP created a new nunchuk. It looks and functions exactly like a normal Nintendo nunchuk controller, only it’s shaped like a giant paintbrush. So Wii owners can have a new controller that’s not only stylish, but functional too…

PDP releasing exclusive Call of Duty: Black Ops headset for Wii

Performance Designed Products has a special treat for those who choose to buy Call of Duty: Black Ops for the Wii. The company has produced what it claims is the first and only headset that can be used with Black Ops on that platform. The Call of Duty: Black Ops Headbanger Chat Headset will be available in October for $24.99.

Gamertell Review: PDP’s B.O.S.S. WiiMote controller shell

This is one of those instances where the name has it spot-on. The BOSS is, indeed, a big oversized super shell. And in a good way.

This relatively inexpensive and colorful shell adds life and comfort to the rather bland WiiMote.

The design is certainly intended for horizontal use and, despite other reviews, ultimately proves neither too large nor to bulky. Curves and light weight keep this an ergonomic delight to use.

Swag of the Day: Wooden crate of SqueeBalls

When your friendly neighborhood delivery person (hey Tim) comes to your door with a wooden crate in tow and you didn’t order anything, you know it’s going to be fun.

It’s been a while since I’ve received notable swag from game company – I blame the economy – but this one proved to be especially interesting.

Prying open the nailed down wood lid to the small wooden crate revealed a dozen plush (read: stuffed) SqueeBalls Party creatures.
