PopCap’s games will come pre-loaded on Xperia phones
PopCap’s influence cannot be stopped. An agreement has recently been made by PopCap and Sony Ericsson to bring select PopCap games to the Sony Ericsson Xperia mini and Xperia mini pro smartphones in Europe. Games By PopCap will come pre-loaded on each of the devices when they launch later this summer.

Plants vs. Zombies and Peggle coming to Android in 2011
The App Store has been the place to go for mobile versions of PopCap’s greatest games. But Android devices are quickly taking over the mobile market. Android phones may not share similar specs like Apple’s mobile devices do, but recent Android phones are more than capable of playing decent games with no trouble. PopCap will soon begin supporting the Android platform in early 2011 with the debut of Plants vs. Zombies and Peggle.

Best Peggle Art Contest entries made into free Peggle Nights level pack
If you’ve grown tired of playing Peggle Nights, then today could be a good time to get back into the game. PopCap held a 2009 Peggle Art Contest a while back, and the five best entries were turned into an Art Contest Level Pack. The pack is a free download, but it does require the $19.95 PC or Mac version of Peggle Nights to play.
The two grand prize winners from the youth and adult categories, plus three runners up entries are in the pack. Once you download the pack, the levels can be instantly added to your game. So you get five new levels you can play in the Adventure, Quick Play, Challenge and Duel modes.
In addition to having the honor of getting their artwork in a level pack for everyone to play, the three grand prize winners got to visit PopCap’s headquarters for playtesting and a tour.

Peggle Nights expansion for Xbox Live Arcade version of Peggle out in Fall 2009
PopCap is always prepared to provide content to keep its Peggle addicts happy, even ones who are playing on consoles instead of computers. Peggle Nights has been confirmed for Xbox Live Arcade, and will be released on the service before the end of Fall 2009. There is a catch though – where the PC and Mac versions of Peggle Nights was a stand alone game, the Xbox Live Arcade version is an expansion pack.
