Penny Arcade Adventures Episode Two set for October 29, 2008
The second installment in Hothead Games’ extravagantly named episodic Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness will be coming to the Xbox 360 via the Xbox Live Arcade and the PC via the Greenhouse digital distribution platform at PlayGreenhouse.com on October 29, 2008.

The first episode of Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness will finally be appearing another major game console – the PS3. Hothead Games has announced that the game will be released on the Playstation Network before the end of Fall 2008.
The PS3 version of the Penny Arcade game will be exactly the same as the Xbox 360 and computer versions of the title, just conveniently ported to the other console. A price hasn’t been set yet, but it will reportedly be in line with the prices for the previous versions.

The game is wrought with the limitations of an Xbox Live game (though it strives to be much more) made for an HD TV: Text is too small to read and be thoroughly soak in the humor, icons are too small to be helpful during combat, the camera angle/perspective is so wonky it’ll make you scream and the combination live-action/tune-based game play is poorly executed. Screenshots and a video of the upcoming game, Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness, have finally been released.
The game, developed by Hothead Games and available later this year, will be the a series of downloadable, episodic games for PC (Windows, Mac OS X and Linux) and will feature characters from Penny Arcade including Gabe and Tycho.
