XSEED isn’t splitting up Fishing Resort and Sao-con
When Fishing Resort comes out November 22, 2011, Wii owners will have two variations to choose from. One’s a budget copy of the game that only costs $19.99 and is really everything you could need to play. The other is a slightly more extravagant bundle that’s $29.99 and includes Sao-con, Fishing Resort‘s one true love.
Okay, I’m kidding. Sao-con is just a peripheral…
Nintendo gets around to announcing the slide pad
Late last night, we filled you in on the game announcements Nintendo made during its Japanese press conference. While many of the game announcements came as no surprise, we were a bit confused about why Nintendo didn’t reveal its new attachment that adds a second analog stick and additional buttons. Nintendo chose to discreetly confirm the slide pad on its Japanese 3DS website instead.
Second 3DS analog stick absent from Nintendo conference
Nintendo held its 3DS press conference this evening and announced a lot of titles. Some of them we already knew about, but others were brand new and very Japanese. We have a rundown of all the announcements up already. The one thing that was expected but not mentioned at the event was the 3DS analog stick attachment.
Nintendo 3DS analog stick peripheral leaked in magazine
In late August, a rumor surfaced that said Nintendo is making some changes to the 3DS. Among the biggest changes was a second analog stick that would be sold separately for $10. This rumor may have seemed like a stretch back then, but it is very much true.

Amazon temporarily takes 40% off the price of 21 gaming accessories
Amazon’s got a video game accessory sale event going on right now. It doesn’t have a fancy name, but a practical promotion like this doesn’t really need one. For a limited amount of time, 21 accessories and peripherals are on sale for up to 40% off the regular prices. We don’t know exactly how limited it is though, since Amazon never lists beginning and end dates for sales like this. If you see something you like, you should probably act quickly.
This particular accessory sale covers pretty much every gaming platform…
CES 2011: Visual Sports Arena will let you toss balls at your TV (with photos)
Physically interactive gaming has certainly become more important with all the major consoles now utilizing motion controls of sorts.
One company is still hoping you’ll want to get a bot more physical and really act like the sport you are playing. Visual Sports System’s rep was literally throwing balls at a HDTV at CES 2011 today (January 6, 2011) to play an interactive Baseball game.
Sony presents another PlayStation Move shooting attachment
In the beginning there was the original PlayStation Move Shooting Attachment. It took on the shape of a pistol that turned into some sort of space age gun when Move was placed inside. Overall it felt good to hold and performed quite well. The Shooting Attachment works fine for games that shoot one bullet at a time, but what about games with machine guns? That’s where the PlayStation Move Sharp Shooter comes in.

THQ’s uDraw GameTablet has been on store shelves for a little over one week.
