Exclusive Interview: Peter Hofstede of Spil Games talks about Animal Shelter
Halloween is almost over and soon everyone will be preparing for the following holiday season. More and more children will begin begging their parents for pet-related games and toys for the holidays, then eventually beg for a real pet. A pet based on their virtual or toy pets that turn into more responsibility than they can handle or become aggravated with because the pet is nothing like their virtual ones, leaving the animal’s fate in their parent’s hands.
But one game company, Spil Games, created a game to help educate young girls about the importance of caring for a pet through their online game Animal Shelter at GirlsGoGames.com.
Gamertell Review: Personal Trainer: Walking for DS
According to the latest inclusion in Nintendo’s Personal Trainer “game” series, I am not a fat, lazy slob. Instead, I am as active as a Daytime Deer and, some days, an Evening Owl.

Dress your pet up for Animal Crossing to become a Welcome Waggin Committee member
Nintendo wants to see your pet. Not as your pet really is though, but as your pet could be. A big costume contest is being held in honor of Animal Crossing: City Folk from October 27 to November 16, 2008. All you have to do to enter is dress up your favorite pet and send the image off to Nintendo. (You can dress them up as Nintendo or Animal Crossing characters if you wish, but it isn’t mandatory.) The owners of the 50 winning pictures will receive a copy of Animal Crossing: City Folk with Wii Speak, a Wii and special information on Animal Crossing: City Folk.
An official website for the Welcome Waggin Committee contest is also scheduled to open. However, as of 11:37pm, October 27, 2008, the website address leads to a dead end. Hopefully, this will be fixed within a day or so. This website will probably be the location for the 50 pictures of the contest winners…
