Pick up Picross 3D for your DS

Nintendo has decided to revolutionize the video game nonogram puzzle with Picross 3D for the DS. What’s a nonogram puzzle you ask? It’s when you’re given a blank slate of blocks, or in Picross 3D‘s case a cube made up of many little cubes, and you fill in or chip away squares/cubes to create a picture. Picross 3D is the follow up to the 2007 DS game Picross DS.

While Picross 3D differs from Picross DS in that it provides 3D puzzles for players to solve, it still retains many of the features fans loved from the original game. For example, the level creator returns so players can create their own 3D nonogram puzzles…

Strange Swag: Touch Generation placemat

Review: ConfortStylus and Invisi-Shield for the DS Lite

Product: ConfortStylus & Invisi-ShieldPrice: $9.98Rating: 7.5 out of 10Pros: ComfortStylus bends well and easily conforms to your finger. The shield is a shield.Cons: Some finger pain after about 20 minutes of use and shield is 1-2 mm too narrow. Only one shield provided.Overall: A pretty good product that will be best enjoyed by people with thinner fingers and can adjust well to new controllers.

Nintendo recently sent me the new Picross DS game along with a licensed ConfortStylus & Invisi-Shield kit. I’ve been pretty happy with my regular ol’ stick stylus sent with my DS. On the rare occasions when I’m too lazy to tug it out or know I’ll not need it for more than a few seconds, I’ll even use the fingernail on my index finger.

For me, it’s pretty hard to mess with something as simple as a pen or pencil especially since all those Catholic school nuns had us do so much handwriting.
