Space plundering starts as Pirate Galaxy enters closed beta

Pirate Galaxy is certainly coming along well. In fact, the closed beta of Gamigo AG’s free-to-play, browser-based, space exploration MMORPG has just begun. That means that, if you want the opportunity to play, all you have to do is register and hope you’re one of the first 5,000 people to do so. If you’re not one of the first 5,000, you’ll have to wait till the open beta.

As you can guess from the title, Pirate Galaxy lets players be Space Pirates. You journey throughout the universe, flying around planets, stopping at space stations, going through the storyline, completing automatically generated quests, facing off against other Space Pirates and also fighting against the alien MANTIS threat.
