plain sight
Plain Sight robot sends suicidal ninja robots into your computer
Beatnik Games’ first game, Plain Sight combines a lot of things people love. It’s not only got robots, but ninja robots, and focuses on senseless destruction.
See, you’re a ninja robot. But not just any ninja robot, a ninja robot with a deathwish. The goal in Plain Sight is to use all your skills and abilities to take out as many of the other players (up to 20 people can play at once) as possible. As you do so, you’ll become bigger and more noticeable. Once you’ve taken out enough opponents, you then have to destroy yourself. If you manage to do this before someone else takes you out, you get points. If someone else takes you out before you manage to destroy yourself, you get no points…
Get ready to total robots in the Plain Sight open beta
Plain Sight, one of the coolest independent games of 2009, has just entered the open beta phase. This is only a temporarily open beta though, it only lasts until February 8, 2009. So you better make the best of it and start now if you want to experience everything.
The premise of Plain Sight is pretty simple – you kill other robots to get points and make yourself bigger and stronger. The catch is that you have to kill yourself once you’ve gotten an admirable amount of points in order to keep them and get bigger. But, if one of the other robots in the area kills you before you get the chance to kill yourself, you lose all of your hard earned points…
