Casual Friday: Causal gaming update for May 22 – 28, 2010
I’m sure everyone will have better things to do this Memorial There’s a lot of diversity in this week’s update, and it contains adventure, puzzle and even a new visual novel game.
The best bets for this week are definitely Fishdom 2 (Windows) and Date Warp (Windows, Mac, Linux). Fishdom 2 is the sequel to the previous Fishdom game, which combines match-3 puzzles with simulation elements so you can create and care for your own aquariums filled with endearing aquatic characters.
Festive Fishdom games find the way to your browser
If you’re looking for a way to get into the holiday season for free, then it could be time to check out the Playrix website. As Casual Friday readers may know, Playrix is famous for its series of match-3/aquarium building Fishdom series of games. Just in time for the holidays, Playrix has announced that browser-based, demo versions of Fishdom: Harvest Splash and Fishdom: Frosty Splash are now online.
It’s really easy to start playing. Just click one of the links above to get to the Thanksgiving-themed Fishdom: Harvest Splash or the Christmas-themed Fishdom: Frosty Splash. Wait for the game to load up in your browser, and then use your mouse to start playing. Both games have brief tutorials to help you learn what you’re doing.
Think of them as demos…
