PlayStation Store Update: A Kick-Ass new game and cooler games on sale (May 2 to May 8, 2010)
Starting the first week of May 2010, the PlayStation Network Store will be moving the updates from Thursdays to Tuesdays starting May 4, 2010.This week’s downloadable PlayStation 3 game is Kick-Ass based on the movie of the same title for $14.99. In this game players control one of three characters: Kick-Ass, Big Daddy or Hit-Girl as they race through the city of New York to take on criminals, mob bosses and mini-bosses using the character’s signature moves and weaponry to complete each level. The game also features a Facebook integration system that allows players to complete special Facespace3 missions. Players can also invite friends to help them online and unlock arena and extreme mode through a local multi-player co-op with its own sub-missions and mini-games to help bring justice to the city of New York. PlayStation Store Update: Find the Secret of Monkey Island and more sales (April 25 to May 1, 2010)
This week’s downloadable PlayStation 3 game is Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition for $9.99. In this classic re-mastered game players control a young man named Guybrush Threepwood who dreams of becoming a pirate by completing the different quests and trials given to him by pirates of Melee Island. For those fans of the original, the game features a scene-for-scene swap in both pixel and re-mastered artwork as well characters voiced-over by the original voice actors.
This week’s PlayStation Portable Download is Monsters (Probably) Stole My Princess! for $4.99. This game can also be played on both PSP and PS3. In this scrolling platform game players control a demon called “The Duke” who after discovering his princess missing not only blames monsters for the kidnapping but goes out on a pounding rampage in search of her in 6 unique stages and up to 24 levels of monsters to deal with…

This week’s PlayStation Portable Download is Mimana: Iyar Chronicle for $34.99 and features a blend of traditional RPG elements and fast-paced battles in a slightly 3D environment and animated cut scenes.

PlayStation Store Update: Tons of bonus content specials and price drops (February 21 to 27, 2010)
This week’s featured downloadable PS3 game is the long awaited missing memory sequences for Assassin’s Creed II: The Bonfire of the Vanities at $4.99 for just the memory sequence or $9.99 for memory sequence and to unlock the secret Templar locations in Froli. Another intense battle awaits for Ezio in the final missing memory sequence of the story. After acquiring the coveted Apple of Eden in sequence 10, Ezio returns to Froli to seek help from the Countess Caterina Sforza, a strong woman with a foul mouth who is not afraid to speak her mind on any topic, in sequence 11 made available in January for $3.99. But when Froli comes under attack by the Orsi Brothers leading an army of Templars, something goes wrong and the Apple of Eden is stolen sending Ezio on an important mission to get it back.

PlayStation Store Update: The Return of Frogger, Holiday downloads (December 13 to 19, 2009)
This week’s featured download is Frogger Returns for $4.99 on the PS3. The old 2D classic has an updated 3D look and a new multiplayer mode. Just watch out for traffic, alligators and many new enemies trying to stop Frogger from getting home to his pad.
Next is an interesting puzzle game for the PSP called Kurulin Fusion featuring the music of Final Fantasy‘s legendary composer Nobuo Uematsu and many others.

This week’s featured downloadable game is Topatoi: The Great Tree Story for $9.99. Players control a vehicle that operates much like an old fashioned children’s spinning top toy through a platform puzzle to make their way up a tree by leaping, spinning or rolling through, over or across moving platforms.
This week’s PSP downloadable game is SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Tactical Strike for $15.99.
