Sony shows off first-person shooter and poker title for PlayStation Home
Sony announced a major change is in store for PlayStation Home back in August. Home will be completely re-imagined as a destination centered on social games. Home will be broken down into districts that cater to certain kinds of games. For instance, there will be an Adventure District and an Action District. Among the games in the Action District is a first-person shooter called Bootleggers.
Full House Poker is part of Xbox Live House Party
Gamertell previously reported that Xbox Live’s Primetime Network is getting a its own poker game. We now know it will be an integral part of Microsoft’s upcoming Xbox Live House Party promotion. This is Microsoft’s second year doing the promotion that calls attention to its arcade titles. Joining Full House Poker in the lineup are much anticipated games including an HD remake of cult classic Beyond Good and Evil and Hard Corps Uprising, the latest installment in the Contra series.

Red Dead Redemption’s Liars & Cheats pack out September 21
Liars & Cheats contains content specific to its name, but also includes everything from the previously announced Free Roam Pack. Rockstar decided to incorporate both packs into one because of restrictions to the amount of free content Rockstar could give away. The result is one massive content update for $10. Liars & Cheats brings games such as liar’s dice and poker into the multiplayer free roam mode.
Sony Home Update: EA opens Godfather II casino, Xi’s newest puzzles, more prizes
Sony’s PlayStation 3 Home is expanding new worlds to explore and have added extra features to an existing worlds.
A Godfather II Casino space has opened and Sony Home is working with EA on the upcoming Sports Complex. There are more game-related costumes and action figure dolls have arrived. Also, to help make things interesting, the puzzles in Xi:The Hub are getting even more challenging.
