Begin storing energy for PowerUp Forever today

PS3 owners may still have to wait a bit for Namco Bandai’s PowerUp Forever to appear on the PlayStation Network, but Xbox 360 owners can play today (December 10, 2008), as its now on Xbox Live Arcade for 800 Microsoft Points/$10. PowerUp Forever is another stylish shooter (think Space Invaders Extreme, only different), where you shoot up at oncoming aliens. What sets it apart, is the ability to make your ship grow and evolve.

The goal in PowerUp Forever is fairly typical, destroy all the aliens and take down the Guardian bosses. But when you do this, your ship changes. You take in the bosses’ energy, making you stronger. Then, even stronger aliens step up to be defeated. Best of all, its all randomly generated…
