Guess what? Time for a pre-Black Friday Best Buy sale! In your local Sunday paper today, there should be a pretty impressive Best Buy ad. It is a 12 page circular filled with all sorts of sales and deals. They aren’t as impressive as the Black Friday 2009 sales the store will be offering, but there’s still some pretty good stuff.

If you turn to the second age, you’ll see Best Buy’s main video game promotion during the sale that will last from November 22-25, 2009. There are 33 Wii games and accessories on the second page. They’re all normal price, but if you buy one, you get a $5 Best Buy gift card. If you buy two, you get a $20 gift card.

Here’s a list of the applicable games and accessories for that promotion. Keep in mind, they’re all full price. So unless you’re planning to get two and get the $20 gift card, you’re probably better off waiting until Black Friday…

Toys R Us has announced yet another sale. Yeah, the weekend flier sales and Black Friday sale weren’t enough. This time Toys R Us has announced a sale that is going to run from November 22-26, 2009. Even better, many of the deals will be available online.

Today’s (November 20, 2008) Amazon Black Friday countdown sale in the video game department isn’t nearly as sweet as yesterday’s deal where you could get $25 or $50 credit on a future Amazon video game purchase by purchasing two or three of the selected games. It is still pretty good – especially if you’re shopping for a gift. If you buy the Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock or Guitar Hero Aerosmith games, you can get two frontman guitar controllers for $20.

What you do is add one of those two Wii games to your cart and also add in two of the Nyko guitar controllers. Then, at the checkout you’ll see the two guitars cost only $20. Normally, the Nyko Frontman guitar controllers cost $19.96 at Amazon, so its pretty nice to get two for the price of one…

In order to get buyers hyped up about Black Friday 2008, Amazon is holding special sales in the video games section leading up to the day. Today (November 19, 2008), the deal offers credits on future Amazon video game purchases when you buy two or three PC, PS3, Wii and/or Xbox 360 games directly from Amazon.

The deal is pretty simple. You select the boxes on the games you want. Once you’ve chosen two or three games, you click the “Add to Cart” button and make your purchase. If you buy two games, you will get a $25 credit on a future Amazon direct game purchase. If you buy three games, you get a $50 credit. You can only take Amazon up on this offer only once, and you can only buy one copy of each game you select.

The 20 titles offered (and their prices) aren’t exactly bargain bin cheap. Some are slightly discounted, but others are still full price. All of the games are recent releases and quality titles, so at least no shovelware is involved. So, the $25 or $50 credit might make it worthwhile for you.
