PSPgo price cut to $150
Sony is continuing its push leading up to the release of the NGP. Whenever something new starts to come out, its old version suddenly becomes more appealing due to price cuts. Sony reduced the price of the PSP-3000 to $129.99 at the end of February. Certain PSP games on UMD were also reduced to $19.99. The PSPgo was the experimental PSP when all things are considered. The public didn’t quite take to it due to its all-digital requirement.
PSPgo price officially cut
Previous reports suggesting a price cut was on the horizon for the PSPgo have proven to be true. The all-digital handheld will be receiving a price cut in the United States and Japan this month.
DSi and DSi XL $20 cheaper soon
If you’re in the market for a DSi or DSi XL, wait. That’s right, you really should be patient and wait. At least until September 12, 2010. Nintendo’s just announced $20 price drops on both units. The discount doesn’t take effect for about three weeks though, on September 12.
Final Fantasy XIII Xbox 360 bundle just got more tempting
Look here ladies and gents. Amazon needs to offload some irrelevant merchandise. Every old Xbox 360 that fills the warehouse is becoming an eyesore. Amazon tried to encourage you to buy the Final Fantasy XIII Xbox 360 bundle for $300, but that wasn’t good enough. Amazon is getting desperate and needs to move these consoles, even if it means slashing another $50 off the price.
DSi and DSi XL get price cut, new colors
The DSi XL will now come in green, yellow and blue. The price for the DSi XL will drop down to around the equivalent of $220. The DSi will drop to about $195. These prices are approximate estimates after converting yen to dollars. This leaves us to wonder if the rest of the world will also get DSi and DSi XL price cuts. Nintendo has confirmed the UK will follow suit.
Deal of the Day: The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks for $18.00

The $199.99 Wii is real, Nintendo plans brief Consumer Sampling Tour to promote it
All of the rumors and whispers were right, Nintendo is cutting the price on the Wii. Starting September 27, 2009, a Wii will cost you $199.99 as opposed to $249.99. That means it’s the same price as the Xbox 360 Arcade bundle. It took both Microsoft and Sony cutting prices on the Xbox 360 and PS3 to finally get Nintendo to take the plunge. It isn’t as dazzling as the recent $100 price cuts on the Xbox 360 and PS3, but $50 is still a lot of money. You could buy an additional game with the money you’re saving. (Two, if you buy the games used!)
The $199.99 bundle is identical to the $249.99 one available now, but let’s still quick review what you get. You get a Wii console, with all of the necessary wires and cords. You also get one Wii Remote and one Nunchuk. Finally, you get Wii Sports, a sports compilation with bowling, tennis, boxing, baseball and golf games. A good deal for $250, a great deal for $200.
In order to also help promote the new, cheaper console and build goodwill among buyers before the crucial winter holiday buying season, Nintendo is holding a brief Consumer Sampling Tour.
40GB PS3 price dropping to $360 September 28, 2008, at Blockbuster
Sony has been quite adamant about not dropping the price of any PS3 model in response to Microsoft’s recent price cut. It’s up for debate whether or not this is a smart move on Sony’s part but for now we can rest easy that Blockbuster will in fact be implementing a price drop of its own effective this Sunday (September 28, 2008).
According to a leaked memo on Kotaku, the 40GB PS3 will sell for $360 along with a $400 bundle that includes an HDMI cable, Spider-Man on Blu-ray, and Transformers: The Game.
This drop in price is probably due to Blockbuster wanting to…
