Walmart knocking $50 off 4GB Xbox 360 Kinect bundle

August 28 through September 5 may be the perfect time to pick up a 4GB Xbox 360 Kinect bundle. Scans from an upcoming Walmart ad lists the bundle for $249. It contains the console, Kinect and a month of Xbox Live Gold.

Four more Wii games are now $19.99 Nintendo Selects

A few more Wii games just got a lot cheaper. Nintendo’s recently decided to start having a line of greatest hits Wii games. Ones that only cost $19.99, as opposed to the normal Nintendo pricing of $49.99. Gamescom 2011: Sony drops 160GB PS3 price to $249 [Updated]

Sony closed out its Gamescom 2011 press conference with a money-saving announcement. Don’t go running out to buy a PS3 yet because the price is about to come down. Effective immediately, the PS3 will now be $249.99 in the United States, €249.99 in Europe and ¥24,980 in Japan. Tell you friends and family to check with retailers if they plan on purchasing a PS3 soon. That extra $50 can be used to scoop up a great game.

3DS is now $169.99 at Target

It looks like Walmart isn’t the only one jumping on the early 3DS price drop train. Target bought a ticket too! It turns out the other big box store has decided that it also can’t wait until August 12, 2011, when the 3DS’ price is set to officially drop from $249.99 to $169.99. If you had to your local Target today (August 10, 2011), you can get your new handheld for the lower price.

Walmart may apply 3DS price drop early

Don’t buy a Nintendo 3DS right now. The price is going to drop to $169.99 on August 12. Furthermore, anyone who purchases a 3DS before then will be official Nintendo 3DS Ambassadors. This prestigious title will grant every “early” 3DS owner access to 10 Game Boy Advance Virtual Console games and 10 NES Virtual Console Games. However, Walmart may drop the price ahead of the official date.

Nintendo cuts the price of the 3DS to $169.99 starting August 12

The biggest shocker of the day has come by way of Nintendo. To everyone’s surprise, Nintendo has decided to drastically cut the price of the Nintendo 3DS. Starting on August 12, the 3DS will sell for $169.99. The current price for the handheld is $249.99. Early adapters of the 3DS will be treated with 20 free downloadable games for showing confidence in the young handheld.

A DS Lite now costs $99.99

We all know the DS lite is being gradually phased out. That kind of thing happens when Nintendo releases a new handheld, the 3DS, and already has two other DS varieties, the DSi and DSi XL, on store shelves at the same time. The standard DS lite isn’t being made anymore, which means it’s time for a price drop on all new models still in circulation. How does $100 sound?

Wii officially drops to $149.99 on May 15

The rumors have turned out to be true. After weeks of seeing the Wii discounted at retail for $169, Nintendo has gone ahead and announced a permanent price drop. Starting on May 15, the Wii is going to cost $149.99 everywhere. It will also be the first time the console will not come bundled Wii Sports or Wii Sports Resort.

That Wii price drop rumor is back again. For the past few months, we’ve been constantly hearing murmurs that Nintendo is going to drop the price of the Wii in May 2011. Now retailers have been backing up that assertion by claiming that Nintendo will be announcing an official $149.99 Wii price drop in the next few weeks. Not only that, but there’s some interesting news in the world of Nintendo Wii games as well.
