Indie India-based game developer Zatun Games has released its first game titled The Legend of Vraz, created using Microsoft’s XNA development software.

You play as Vraz, a prince who wants to marry the princess. To do so, you must complete five tasks to prove your worth while also trying to avoid the minions of your rival. Naturally, there is an evil character who serves as an adviser to the princess’s father and has plans of his own to marry the princess. It’s a very simple and straightforward story but but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

When the original Prince of Persia saw release by Jordan Mechner in 1989, it managed to distinguish itself from other platformers at the time due to its real-time nature and punishing difficulty, the latter often frustrating novice players and really separating the men from the boys.

This classic adventure is now set to make its debut on the Playstation Network this Thursday (October 23, 2008). No additional features are known at this point, meaning that game may not come bundled with Trophies. However, it will provide players the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the Prince before…
